Geeta Kapur is a 45-year-old cheerful woman who was born on July 5, 1973 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He was very interested in dancing since childhood. She used to perform dances in her family gatherings and also participated in dance competitions.
At the age of 15, Geeta joined Farah Khan’s troupe to refine her dance concept. After that, he professionally started choreographing and opened his own dance academy. Apart from choreography and dance, she also modeled for a while in her youth.

Career
She started her career after learning dancing skills from Farah Khan’s dance troupe. At first, he started his own dance academy.
In 1998, she first appeared as a secondary background dancer in the Bollywood song ‘Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aaye’ from the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

She also appeared as a backstage dancer in the films- ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Nayak’, and ‘Om Shanti Om’.
He choreographed many Bollywood films such as Fiza (2000), Asoka (2001), Saathiya (2002), Heyy Babyy (2007), Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic (2008), Aladin (2009), Sheila Ki Jawani’ (2010), Tees Maar Khan’s Sheila Ki Jawani’ (2010), (2 Shirin Far Ki Gaya) and Tere Pa Naal Love Ho (2010).
He has also choreographed for many award ceremonies and concerts like Temptation Reloaded and has also choreographed the opening ceremony of Pepsi IPL 2013.
In 2008, she started her TV show career as a judge with the dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ (Season 2) and after that, she permanently shifted her focus to the small screen and started judging dance reality. He has judged more than 14 dance reality shows like ‘Dance India Dance,’ ‘DID L’il Masters,’ ‘DID Doubles’, ‘Dance Ke Super Kids’, etc.
He also made a special appearance on the DID show Lil Masters, where his mentors Farah Khan and Sandip Soparkar were the judges, during auditions as well as in special episodes.
Controversy
In 2015, at about 5 am, he was driving at high speed on Jalan JP at Vateshwar Naka in Versova and hit a pedestrian named Nisar Noor Mohammed and fractured his right knee. Although Geeta tried a lot to settle the matter outside the police level but the victim was not ready and she filed an FIR against him after which she was arrested by the Versova police but later, released on bail.
