German tattoo artist ID’d as woman paraded through streets by Hamas

A young tattoo artist has been identified as the woman whose body was paraded through the streets on the back of a pick-up truck by Hamas terrorists after they attacked an outdoor music festival during a sneak attack on Israel on Saturday morning.

Shani Louk was among hundreds of victims in Israel when Hamas targeted a dance party near Kibbutz Urim and other Israeli communities.

The brutal attack in the Jewish state has left at least 250 Israelis dead with more than 1,500 injured and dozens more kidnapped.

As disturbing footage of the violence quickly spread online, family members recognized Shani, in her early 20s, in the video, her first cousin told the Washington Post.

Armed terrorists chanted “Allahu Akbar” — Arabic for “God is Great” as they paraded his body.

His family tried to contact him when they discovered Hamas had crossed over from the Gaza Strip, Tom Weintraub’s cousin Louk reportedly said. At that point, they still hadn’t seen the video.

“We know he is in the party,” he told the newspaper. “He didn’t answer.”

But another cousin saw footage of Shani online as his body appeared lifeless and was surrounded by armed militants in the back of a truck. A Hamas fighter put his leg over his waist while another grabbed a section of his dreadlocks.

His feet were unusually placed on the back of the truck. Her parents watched the video to confirm it was their daughter, the Washington Post reported.

“We recognized him by his tattoos, and he had long dreadlocks,” Louk said.

It is not known if Shani is dead or where he is, but his family is not giving up hope.

“We have some hope,” Louk told the Washington Post. “Hamas is responsible for him and the others.”

He is a dual German-Israeli citizen, according to CNN.

“This morning my daughter, Shani Nicole Louk, a German citizen, was kidnapped along with a group of tourists in southern Israel by Palestinian Hamas,” Shani’s mother Ricarda said in a video obtained by German news channel Bild, according to CNN.

“We have been sent a video where I can clearly see our daughter unconscious in a car with Palestinians and they are driving around the Gaza Strip. I ask you to send us any help or any news. Thank you very much.”

Shani is a tattoo artist and hairdresser, according to what appears to be her social media account.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed his country will take “great revenge for this evil day.” Israel has already launched a devastating counterattack, killing more than 230 people in the Gaza Strip.
