Here we go again, “Love Is Blind” viewers: It’s reunion time!
The fourth season of the highly-rated Netflix dating show has everything: Fans have already seen pre-altar breakups, partner swaps and several cast apologies. It looks like fans won’t have a chance to recover from this season’s wild struggles; Viewers will have the opportunity to watch the cast come together in all their seductive glory in real time!
Viewers should pick up a signature ‘LIB’ wine goblet on April 16 and settle in for a TV date night; “Love Is Blind” reunion will be live on Netflix!
An official reunion teaser trailer was posted on the show’s official Instagram account on Tuesday, and Nick Lachey also had plenty to say during a live appearance on TODAY.
Lachey Drops Reunion Deets Live During ‘Today’ Show Appearance
Former 98 Degrees singer and current Netflix reality TV aficionado, Nick Lachey, joins the “TODAY” host to deliver the sizzling scoop!
The three-minute appearance started with a bang. “TRL” alum and “TODAY” host Carson Daley kicked off the interview by revealing the trailer. After the clip, Daley asked his old friend if he thought it was a “good idea” for the reunion to be broadcast live, but naturally, Lachey remained tight-lipped.
Lachey was candid when he answered how he was preparing for the unexpected live reunion; “I’m hanging on for dear life, man,” he joked to Daley.
“It’s going to be a lot to digest,” Lachey added after Savannah Guthrie pointed out some preventative measures that might be needed. “The reunion gave everyone a chance to speak and answer those questions. “And doing it live definitely adds another layer of intrigue.
Lachey also reveals a certain level of intrigue in the role he and his wife, Vanessa, have adapted as hosts of Netflix’s resident dating show. It’s common for their friends to consult them on relationship advice!
“They come to us for advice, which is the dumbest thing you can do,” he joked. “We don’t know what we’re doing! I don’t think anyone does. They say, ‘Hey, do what works for you and hang on for dear life!”
What Do We Know About The Teaser Trailer?
One thing about the reunion teaser trailer is for sure: It’s probably a good idea for viewers to make tea early!
Cast member Brett Brown, who appears to be in a successful relationship with his on-screen fiancée Tiffany Pennywell, kicked off the trailer by telling viewers there will be “a lot to talk about!”
The cast can be seen sipping, spilling and burning their cups of tea as Lachey gets down to business, revealing what the audience can expect.
“Are you ready for ‘Love Is Blind’ reunion spoilers?” Lachey asked. Vanessa then dropped a hot reveal about the reunion: “No spoilers,” she announced.
“Right, we don’t know what’s going to happen at this reunion,” Nick said.
“You know why? Because we did it, LIVE,” added Vanessa.
Fan reactions are definitely alive and well on Instagram; Viewer feedback was generally positive, although some viewers noted that it was difficult for the show to remain spoiler-free.
“Lol- that Zack looks like Tom Hanks from ‘Cast Away’ is a spoiler!! Happiness will not let it fly,” said one fan. Zack Goytowski got engaged to Irina Solomonova in a pod after deciding to let go of his earlier relationship with Bliss Poureetezadi. Viewers recently saw Goytowski propose to his first leading lady!
