Srinu Boddupalli, known by his stage name Getup Srinu, is an Indian film actor, stand-up comedian, and television presenter who works mostly in the Telugu entertainment industry. He earned the name ‘Getup’ for appearing in various episodes in the Telugu TV comedy show Jabardasth and its extended version, Extra Jabardasth. On the show, he impersonated a Telugu film actor in Sudigali Sudheer’s team. He is also known as the host of the show Cinema Chupista Mama on ETV Plus. Apart from her TV career, she has starred in several Telugu films such as Rangasthalam (2018), Zombie Reddy (2021), and Waltair Veerayya (2023).

Srinu Boddupalli was born on Wednesday, 12 December 1984 (age 38 years; in 2023) in Chinamillipadu village in Akividu Mandal, West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. Coming from a humble background, his parents came to Kalingagudem as migrant laborers from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. Srinu grew up on a small farm next to a crop canal in the village. Till Class 10, he attended Siddapuram High School. He completed his studies from Dumpagadapa Government College. Growing up, he would go to work with his parents where he would imitate co-workers for entertainment, making everyone laugh. He moved to Hyderabad for better opportunities.

Television
In 2013, Srinu Boddupalli came into limelight with the Telugu comedy show Sketch Jabardasth. Later, he also appeared in the extended version of Jabardasth, Extra Jabardasth. He earned nicknames like ‘Jabardast Srinu’ and ‘Getup Srinu’ for his various appearances while doing comedy sketches on the show. He is also famous as ‘Bulli tera Kamal Haasan’ (Kamal Haasan of the small screen).
