Via Instagram on Friday, Hadid announced to her 76.2 million fans that she was leaving Twitter following Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of the platform.

The mother of one is known to be involved in various activism causes in the past, which seems to explain why she used Singh’s tweet as the centerpiece for her announcement of quitting Twitter.
Twitter previously explained that the cuts were necessary to achieve their future objectives.
“In an effort to put Twitter on a healthy path, we will go through the difficult process of reducing our global workforce on Friday,” the tech company said in an email to its employees, per New York Post. “We recognize that this will impact a number of individuals who have made valuable contributions to Twitter, but this action is unfortunately necessary to ensure the success of the company moving forward.”
