Gisele Bündchen became a rock for her children amid the loss of their grandmother, Vânia Nonnenmacher.
The supermodel’s mother sadly passed away on Sunday after a battle with cancer.

Bündchen was seen for the first time since Nonnenmacher’s death on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The model was spotted with her 11-year-old daughter, Vivian, on a stroll in Surfside, Florida. The mother and daughter duo were joined by their pet German Shepard.

A grieving Bündchen looked somber in casual black leggings and an oversized gray sweater. He wore a black baseball cap to shield his face from possible prying eyes. Vivian opted for a similar look, wearing a pair of baggy joggers and an oversized sky blue hoodie.
At one point, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was seen pulling her daughter into a tight hug, as if comforting her amid her grandmother’s passing. During the short walk, which took place not too far from the model’s $11.5 million mansion, the couple also played fetch with their pets.

The holiday comes a day after the “Taxi” actor broke his silence on Nonnenmacher’s death and dedicated a tearful tribute to his beloved mother. Taking to Instagram to share a carousel of sweet memories with her late parents — including one Nonnenmacher who bonded with her two grandchildren — a heartbroken Bündchen wrote:
“Dear mom, It hurts to know I won’t be able to hug you anymore, but I know that mom will always watch over us. You are an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you.
She continued, “I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you. Thank you for being the ultimate example of love, strength, compassion, courage, and grace. I will forever cherish the wonderful memories we shared and will cherish the values that you taught me.”
The Brazilian native declared that her mother will “live forever” through the many lives she touched. The heart-wrenching tribute ended with the words, “Thank you for giving me five lifelong friends. Your love will always guide us. I will see you in my dreams. Love you ❤️.”

According to reports, Nonnenmacher died at the age of 75, breathing his last at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital in Porto Alegre, Brazil on Sunday.
Beloved parents welcomed Bündchen and her five other sisters with university professor Valdir Bündchen. He is a retired banker who used to work at Banco do Brasil.
Insiders revealed that the wake is scheduled for Monday morning at the Ecumenical Chapel of the Metropolitan Crematorium in Porto Alegre, after which the farewell ceremony will be held later.
When Nonnenmacher was alive, his superstar supermodel daughter never shied away from celebrating him publicly. When she turns 73 in November 2022, Bündchen dedicated a moving tribute to her mother to mark the milestone.
The 43-year-old wrote at the time, “Happy birthday Mom! I am forever grateful for all you have done and continue to do for us. Thank you for always loving, inspiring and teaching us. Thank you for giving me life! Love you so much!”
She once described Nonnenmacher as her “hero” during an International Women’s Day celebration, recalling how her mother sacrificed so much to raise six daughters. “My mother devoted her entire life to her family and did so with grace,” she wrote in a blog entry on her website. “She is the reason why I believe a woman is the core of a family.”

Following the news of Bündchen’s mother’s death, fans of the supermodel have expressed their condolences on social media. One fan wrote, “Condolences to my queen.
