Appearing on the “Tonight Show,” the model told host Jimmy Fallon and guest Wayne Brady that the incident happened in Iceland while she was filming on a fake iceberg.

As part of her media tour to promote her new cookbook, Bündchen appeared on the “Tonight Show” and revealed a near-death experience she had during a fragrance campaign.

The revelation happened during a game of True Confessions with host Fallon and guest Brady. According to the rules of the game, Bündchen was given two envelopes, one containing a lie about herself and the other something true.

Bündchen chose the second cover, which revealed, “I was filming on a fake iceberg in Iceland, and I almost fell into the ocean.” While Fallon and Brady guessed it was fake, Bündchen amazingly revealed that it did happen.

He continued, per Daily Mailstating that he “would be dead in seconds” if he fell, as he was only wearing flip flops and the water was so cold.

Bündchen added about the campaign, “It’s for this fragrance called Oxygene. You need to Google. You can actually see it. It’s on the internet. It’s called Oxygene is the name of the fragrance.”

After the game, Bündchen shared her inspiration for writing the cookbook, explaining that it came from her passion for food.

“You know, I love food. Yes, I really enjoy food. And I have all the play dates always at my house. So, all the kids, you know, the moms are going to come back and say, ‘How did you get my kid to eat vegetables?’ I was like, ‘It’s so easy, just, like, grill it.’” Bündchen told Fallon.

Bündchen revealed that she started “sharing recipes with mom” and realized she could reach a wider audience after one of her sisters suggested putting her ideas in a book.

“Anything that’s good for me, that feels good, I want everybody to know and everybody to have it,” he added. “So that’s how I share nutritious, delicious, simple items because I’m not a chef. I just want to eat good food.”

Speaking more about the book, Bündchen shared that it’s not like the conventional books out there, saying the “big thing” about her book is “meal planning.”

She added, “Because I think a lot of things happen with moms, they’re overwhelmed because they come home, and it’s like, ‘I’m starving, my kids are screaming,’ you know?”

“You’re just like, ‘I want peace, please stop,’ you know? So the thing is, if you have a meal plan, it’s amazing.”

For the model, watching her mother feed all six children also helps. He explained that his mother had a schedule for all their meals and claimed that the schedule was designed so that there would be no food waste.

Bündchen continued: “There’s never any food waste, and we always have food because if you prepare, you can plan things ahead of time, so when you get home, you can make a meal in, like, ten minutes.”

Fortunately, she started to get better after she consulted a naturopath, who advised her to change her diet and do more exercise.
