Celebrities are just like us… sometimes, in this case, with holiday preparations. Some of our favorite celebrities have taken to social media to share how they prepared for and celebrated the long Thanksgiving weekend.
One of the first people to share their preparations and overall excitement was actress Blake Lively. This enthusiastic mother-of-three has already baked two pies that look like they’re straight out of a cooking magazine.

One of them is key lime which is definitely accented with mint leaves cut into hearts! And the second one looks like a pecan pie. Or some kind of cake? It is decorated with nuts and fruits. We have to assume that Taylor Swift’s bestie is invited to dinner and will be able to enjoy both pies.
Jenna Dewan Takes Us Into The Retail Story
Industrious Mama wakes up early and takes us with her to pick up her ingredients at the grocery store. “Reduce Thanksgiving preparations,” said the words on the screen. Dewan looked tired and overwhelmed and he hadn’t even started cooking.
Don’t worry, he also took two large bottles of wine, one probably to help him prepare.
Lindsay Lohan is also on her prep game. The actress shared a video wishing her fans a happy Thanksgiving and holiday and encouraging her fans to watch her new Netflix Christmas movie, Falling for Christmas.
Lohan followed her post with a picture of one of the sides she had prepared, “creamy mashed potatoes”

The mom-to-be is in nesting mode as the Christmas season approaches but she took a moment to share a family photo of herself, her partner Tom Pelphrey and some of their dogs to wish everyone a “Happy Thanksgiving”.

Kris Jenner must have been busy directing staff to get her Thanksgiving rolling but she took some time to send a message to her millions of followers via a Kylie Cosmetics IG post. “Happy Thanksgiving! So grateful for YOU all! May everyone have an amazing Thanksgiving filled with love.”

Some Celebrities Give Back First
Some celebrities volunteered at food banks and other places before returning home to enjoy their time with their family and friends. Diddy, his daughters and rumored girlfriend Yung Miami of the rap duo City Girls volunteered and filled the plate on their local mission.
Chloe Bailey and her sister Hailey Bailey also volunteered their time wherever needed today. Kim Kardashian and Tristan Thompson volunteer at the prison feeding the inmates. They brought a camera crew with them and received backlash for it but at least they volunteered.
