Gongadi Trisha is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian Women’s U-19 cricket team mainly as a batsman. A right-handed batsman and right-arm leg break bowler, Trisha was part of the Indian squad that won the Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup in 2023.

Trisha Reddy , also known as Gongadi V Trisha, was born on Thursday, 15 December 2005 (age 17 years; in 2022) in Badrachalam, Telangana. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. When Trisha was born, her father who had been a hockey player, asked her mother to show Trisha’s cricket matches on television instead of cartoons when she got a little older. He was nurtured to play cricket from the age of two and a half when his father started training him with plastic balls and bats. When Trisha was 5 years old, her father began taking her to the gym with him, where he would throw more than 300 throws at her. After some time, Trisha’s father installed a cement block in the local area of Badrachalam, where Trisha practiced for hours under her father’s guidance. As there was no cricket academy in their hometown, her father decided to move to Secunderabad from Bhadrachalam to provide Trisha with adequate facilities for her training and development; Trisha’s father quit his job and sold his gym to a relative for less than half the price to move to Secunderabad. Once, when Trisha was practicing batting in the nets in Secunderabad, her father recorded a video of her and showed it to John Manoj and Srinivas, the coach of St. Mary’s Cricket Academy. Gongadi Trisha’s father, GV Ramireddy, is a former hockey player who played for the state during his youth. Ramireddy also works as an ITC gym trainer. He ran his own gym for some time, before selling it to relatives to support Trisha’s training. Trisha’s mother’s name is Madhavi. He is the only child of his parents.

Gongadi Trisha became part of Hyderabad’s U16 women’s squad at the age of eight, becoming the youngest player in the team. Trisha was the top scorer in the southern zone for two years at the U16 level. When she was 12 years old, Trisha started playing as a batsman for Hyderabad U19 (as a batsman) and for Hyderabad U23 (as a bowler). His first U19 match was against Tamil Nadu where he scored 38 runs and took four wickets.

After giving a brilliant performance at the state level, Gongadi Trisha earned a place in the Indian U-19 women’s cricket team. She gave great performances in the Sri Lanka, West Indies and New Zealand series and made a place for herself in the India U-19 women’s team for the 2023 Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup.
Trisha scored 24 runs off 29 balls with 3 wickets in the final against England in South Africa, leading the Indian team to win the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup U19 2023. Trisha was also linked with the India B Team.
