GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert was kicked out of a musical over the weekend for ‘unruly’ behavior throughout the show, according to a report.
Boebert, 36, attended “Beetlejuice: The Musical” at the Temple Hoyne Bell Theater in Denver Sunday afternoon with an unidentified man after fellow audience members complained that the two were noisy.
Theater staff accused the two of “singing, taping and ‘causing a disturbance’ during the performance,” The Denver Post reported.
During the break, the two were confronted by an usher who warned them about their behavior.
The outlet reported that security received “another complaint about a noisy customer and at that time (they) were filming” five minutes into the second half.
“They told me they would not go. I told them they had to leave the theater and if they didn’t, they would break in,” a spokesperson told the paper. “The customers said they would not go. I told them I would (will) get the Denver Police. They said go get them.”
Boebert, a second-term congressman serving in Colorado’s 3rd District, and he the guests, again, were approached by two security workers and escorted from their seats during the performance, security footage obtained by the 9News show shows.

As he was escorted out of the theater, Boebert stopped several times, once to take a selfie and another time to turn and appear to yell at security guards while wagging his fingers.
When they reached the lobby of the theater, Boebert reportedly refused to exit, asking employees “‘Do you know who I am,’ ‘I’m on the board’ (and) ‘I’m going to call the mayor,'” according to an incident report seen by Denver Post.
The police arrived at the theater and waited in the lobby until Boebert and his friend left.

The pair were later seen walking side by side after leaving the venue with the mystery man spinning Boebert as they walked through the empty plaza.
Although the incident report did not identify the two people who were removed from the theater, Boebert and his 2024 re-election campaign both confirmed that the congressman was kicked out of the theater — without confirming reports of his alleged misconduct.
“I can confirm an amazing and disgusting rumor: in her private time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’ ” Drew Sexton wrote in a statement according to the Denver Post.

Sexton also confirmed to the press that Boebert had used his phone to take pictures of the performance even though the theater prohibited the use of cell phones during the performance.
“It’s true, I really enjoyed Beetlejuice AMAZING at the Buell Theater and I confess to laughing and singing too loud!” Boebert posted on X. Everyone should go see it if you get a chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”
Boebert, a mother of four sons and grandmother of one, filed for divorce from her husband of 18 years Jayson in May, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
