“If zuck “oversees the Metaverse,” it’s dead,” Grimes began his statement, adding, “And people who care about art and culture are building something else. Also, this is bad art.” The rest of the message then reads:

“The quality of this image alone shows how unqualified he is to build an alternate reality, literally every indie game looks better.”

The image he was referring to was a real photo of Zuckerberg that was attached, like an avatar, to an alternate reality creature. Furthermore, his tweet was in response to The Independent announcing that Meta’s CEO would appear as a surprise guest on “controversial podcast host” Joe Rogan’s latest show.

In the three-hour interview, the two discussed a variety of topics, including Zuckerberg promoting the potential of Metaverse, highlighting his favorite hobby, and revealing he has no time for social media despite having created one of the largest in the world. As reported by the Independent, the tech luminary told Rogan about a new piece of Metaverse equipment that will be released in October, allowing avatars to mimic users’ facial expressions and make eye contact.

He explains, “Virtual reality really convinces your brain that you’re there. You have to convince your brain that this isn’t real and you’re not actually there.” Zuckerberg further mentioned the “gloves” the company is working on to allow users to feel objects emphasizing that there will be opportunities to wear something “to add to the experience.”

However, he wanted to design equipment without users needing a “fully immersive VR suit,” which would require them to set up using multiple parts. The wildly successful entrepreneur points out that people will eventually want a version they can take anywhere, including on the plane, in the coffee shop or the office.

Aiming for “a normal-looking pair of glasses,” not a VR headset, his company continues to develop “waveguide” technology that can be made of plastic or glass. In addition, he predicted that in five years, podcast interviews could be done using AI glasses, and his hologram form would talk to Rogan.

Zuckerberg stated, “So few physical things that we have in the world need not be physical; chairs and food need to be physical, but most entertainment, like TV, need not be physical.” He added that the screen would simply be an app on the wall, and users would snap their finger, causing a television hologram to appear.

As someone who enjoys playing boxing games, he predicts that VR headsets can change fitness routines, believing that humans are brains in bodies with physical beings and actions that are part of the human experience. Zuckerberg’s company is said to be spending $10 billion on research this year, leading the CEO to point out the “tremendous amount of technology” that needs to be built.

“Miss Anthropocene” Creator Shares Desire To Get Face Mode Open

Grimes recently planned to spend the next few years with a makeover, which she mentioned to her fans Twitter, asking for suggestions on what changes would look good on it. The Blast shared that she voiced her desire to get “elf ears,” adding an apology to those who feel awkward discussing body modification openly.

The “Alter Ego” judge believes not being open about it is unhealthy because people feel more self-conscious about them in the media hiding body mods. He next asked for recommended places where he could get elf ear makeovers and get vampire teeth caps in Austin or Los Angeles. However, he debated changing his ear because the cartilage would not heal and would require permanent stitches.

While she may be excited to get a body mod, the father of her children, Elon Musk, is not a fan of the idea as he points out the impact on his career if he does such surgery.
