Gulnur started climbing at the age of 17 at the METU Mountaineering & Winter Sports Club. He has climbed more than 30 high-altitude mountains in Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Nepal, Argentina, the United States and elsewhere. He initially visited Nepal in 2004 to climb and collect data for my Ph.D. studies on risk marketing and risk utilization.
Only twelve women in the world have climbed the “Eight Summits” to date. Her ambition is to become the first Turkish and Turkish woman to climb all eight peaks. He completed McKinley (6,194 meters), Aconcagua (6,959 meters), Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters), Elbrus (5,642 meters), and Carstensz Pyramid (4,884 meters).
