Gwyneth Paltrow On The Way To Collect Her Dollar After Ski Accident Victory

Gwyneth Paltrow has tasted victory in her ski accident trial, and she’s taking to Instagram to vent her thoughts in the only way a Gwyn can.

The actor has gotten a lot of coverage lately for his highly visible reaction to the attempted skiing accident. He rolled his eyes a lot, threw some funny side eyes, and even mocked the serval time from his seat.

So it’s on brand for Paltrow to release a statement that maintains that same energy. “I feel that acquiescing to false claims undermines my integrity,” he opened his account. “I am pleased with the verdict, and I appreciate all the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury and thank them for their thoughtful handling of this case.”

The case ended up going in Paltrow’s favor, so how could she not be thrilled, given that $300,000 was on the line for an accident she insists she didn’t cause even as Terry Sanderson, an optometrist, had sued.

Paltrow countersued Sanderson for $1 because; he didn’t need the money; it is the main thing. He claimed he suffered a head injury and blamed the entire downhill accident on the Iron Man actress.

The jury found the accident to be Sanderson’s fault. In true classy fashion, Paltrow bears no ill will for Sanderson; it was reported that on the way out of the courtroom, she whispered, “I wish you well,” and she replied, “Thank you, honey.”

When asked by a reporter if the lawsuit was worth it, the retired doctor said, “Absolutely not.” He continued, “I believe he thinks he has the truth.” Looks like she’s not keeping it as classy as Paltrow!

This was not enough for Sanderson; since he failed to capture $300,000k from Paltrow, he could pay more than a dollar. Paltrow is also countersuing to get her legal fees paid. This can go either way.

On the one hand, Paltrow doesn’t need his money to pay his legal fees, and she wishes him well, so we know he’s not bitter. But instead, he has to pay out of pocket for something that goes beyond the limit.

Paltrow isn’t dealing with a small rinky dink law firm here; he may have the best, and a fee is a fee…

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kids Help a Lot

The mother of two could not have done this without the help of her daughter, Apple Martin, and her son, Moses Martin. The two children wrote statements which were read in court about what happened, moreover, the impact of who hit whom, and what they heard or remembered from that day.

Moses said he saw the incident go down because he was skiing near his mother on the slopes. He testified that his mother was yelling and swearing; he was upset and accused Sanderson of stomping his butt.

He also testified that Sanderson was somewhat apologetic and seemed to take some accountability only to change his story a few days later.

Paltrow should be thankful this whole ordeal is over.
