Skirts which are a combination of shorts and skirts seem to be going out of fashion lately. However, it looks like the former Russian-American artistic gymnast plans to bring them back for her latest fashion video!

Looks like the five-time Olympic gold medalist isn’t going to let a few critics stop her from sharing her fashion videos with her 1.1 million Instagram followers! In her latest Instagram post, Nastia shared a short video clip featuring her dressed to the beat of “Matter of Time.”
In the video, Nastia begins by donning a long-sleeved tan jacket over a black bra. The color of the jacket went well with her tan skort, which was already pulled up high above her waist. After buttoning the front of the jacket, the camera pans out to show Nastia taking a seat and adjusting her black boots.
She then turned to face the camera to give fans a full view of her outfit. In the caption, she tagged @ganni for the boots and @zara for the top and skort. “Ps can we make skorts cool again??” he asked. Some fans love the dress but love the aesthetic of the room more.

“But wait I love the aesthetics of this room!! Full tour please,” a fan begged. “Thanks!!! Coming soon,” replied Nastia. ‘But I also posted a reel a few weeks ago with some more detailed pictures of this room!’

“May I ask your weight/training regimen?” ask another user. Although Nastia thanked several fans for their compliments, she did not respond to this comment. In fact, the 33-year-old athlete has disabled comments on several of her Instagram videos over the past week due to inappropriate comments about her weight.
Nastia Disables Comments On Her Post After Followers Speculate About Her Weight Loss
Fans who have followed Nastia’s career for a long time know that the 2008 Olympic champion has always had a petite frame at 5’3″, but fans are concerned that she has become thinner than usual. On February 5, Nastia posted a video on Instagram showing her wearing a sweater and skirt patchwork from Zara.
However, she had to disable comments after some users said she was too thin. Some users even speculated that she was struggling with an eating disorder.

“I know you’re just going to delete this or turn off comments, but as someone who has struggled for years with an eating disorder – you look like you need help,” one follower shared. “Not suggesting that you have any particular diagnosis, but this post raised a red flag for me.”
“You look amazing and I’ve loved you since I was an elite gymnast. But you look very thin. As long as you’re happy and okay who cares but you look really thin in an unhealthy way,” another user commented.

Another user said that it was “alarming” how thin she was while others criticized her appearance. One user left a comment saying “She doesn’t look attractive! He’s skin and bones” while another follower asked, “Can I buy you something to eat, please?”
Fortunately, there are some followers who support Nastia. “How about you worry about your own body and stop criticizing it, since you haven’t even lived a day in its condition… or known it personally, for that matter!” a user commented. “Call it what it is. You are not ‘expressing concern…’ you are making a judgment.”
