Gymnast Nastia Liukin took some time to take care of herself this weekend!
The Russian-born former American artistic gymnast shared a video over the weekend showing her about to jump into a pool. And, to celebrate the release of the upcoming “Barbie” movie, of course, she had to wear pink!

On Saturday afternoon, the five-time Olympic medalist took to Instagram to share a video focusing on her embracing some much-needed self-care after her trip to Europe. He begins the video by closing his laptop, giving fans a glimpse of a lit candle on his desk and a beautiful view behind the glass wall that sits on the other side.
After she blew out the candles, she opened the bottom drawer of her dresser, which was filled with dozens of colorful bikinis and different swimsuits. Nastia grabbed a pink swimsuit and headed into the closet to put it on, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her muscular back and new short haircut. He then headed outside into the pool, where he stood looking at the clear blue water and embracing the warm sunlight.

After stretching her arms, Nastia paused and then jumped into the bathtub to soak in the cold. He took a deep breath, let it in and out, and then jumped out. He didn’t add any music to the video, although fans can hear birds chirping in the background throughout the duration of his cold plunge. “Reset and recharge – we all need a little TLC to keep our tanks full! What are you doing to fill your cup this weekend?” she asked in the caption, along with the hashtags #coldplunge and #wellnessthatworks. One fan commented, “Spending time with dogs!”
“The gold drop is important in Texas,” another follower wrote, referring to the heat wave they’re currently experiencing down south. “You are one hot lady,” gushed a third fan. “I love your sexy little XS pink bikini,” wrote another follower. “That was an awesome weekend getaway,” another fan chimed in while another follower called the video “cool.”
Nastia Shares Training With Her Trainer And Her Boyfriend!
Although the 2005 and 2007 World champion in balance beam is a little shy to share the identity of her boyfriend Ben, he appears in most of her videos. She appeared in her latest Instagram video alongside certified celebrity fitness trainer Kira Stokes, who has been training Nastia for a while now.
The trio headed to the rooftop balcony to do some exercises, including a series of squats before they all turned to do lunges with one leg resting on the chair behind them, also known as Bulgarian split squats. All three appeared to be working out in unison and doing the same moves before Nastia decided to start showing off her flexibility and gymnastic prowess by kicking her hind legs into the air behind her. Ben even tried to do it at Kira’s encouragement, but he wasn’t able to reach the same height as Nastia due to years of stretching!

“Pov: the moment you can *finally* challenge your trainer and boyfriend while working out,” she wrote in the caption, tagging Kira and Ben in the post. She ended her caption with the hashtag #gymnastics. Kira commented, “Zoom in on my face says it all – the new ‘Nastia’ – RFESS with a ring kick…and I’m a makeover…” Nastia replied, “Hahaha the best part.”
