Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Allowed Zero Communication With Her Ex-Boyfriend

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who forced an online boyfriend to kill her mother as part of a plot to help her escape parental control, has been denied parole.

Following the release, it has now emerged that Gypsy Rose is banned from having any contact with the ex-flame she recruited to carry out the act.

Court Wants No Communication Between Gypsy Rose Blanchard & Nick Godejohn

Gypsy’s early release from prison last week sparked media attention, marking a dramatic start to her life outside prison.

The thrill grew louder when viewers learned the conditions of the Missouri native’s parole, which included being barred from communicating with Nick Godejohn, the ex-boyfriend convicted of murdering his mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

The conditions of his parole clearly stated that he could not talk to her, either by email, text, writing, or even through any third party. The 32-year-old, who is now back home in Louisiana with her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, is also required to complete an outpatient mental health program.

In addition, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Gypsy was not sentenced to house arrest after serving seven years in prison for second-degree murder. A judge previously sentenced him to ten years after he admitted masterminding the murder plot during his trial in 2016.

Unfortunately, his co-conspirators faced a harsher sentence, receiving life in prison without the possibility of parole. Nick assisted his then-girlfriend in her mother’s murder after connecting with her on a dating site for Christian singles.

As US media reported, the ex-lovers were online friends for two years before finally meeting in person for a movie date. The next personal encounter occurs when Nick travels from Wisconsin to Missouri to carry out Gypsy’s plan to kill Dee Dee.

Extensive text exchanges in which they scrapped plans to get married, start a family, and even the names chosen for their children were revealed during the couple’s court hearing. They finally carried out their assassination plan on June 9, 2015.

Gypsy later recounted how she and Dee Dee shared manicures on the night of the crime before putting the latter to bed and reassuring her that she would be a “good girl” in the 2017 documentary film, “Mommy Dead and Dearest.”

While Dee Dee is fast asleep, Nick enters their home and stabs her to death, while Gypsy continues to disappear from view in the bathroom. Gypsy later claimed that she initially reconsidered killing her mother but ultimately decided to go ahead after a heated argument.

In court, she emphasized her role in convincing her ex to commit the act, stating, “I did. I talked him into it.” Following the murder, the former couple reportedly stole $4,000 from Dee Dee’s room, checked into a Springfield hotel, and eventually went to Nick’s home in Wisconsin.

Despite their seemingly carefree demeanor, Nick, who had no prior history of violence, expressed remorse for killing Dee Dee. In fact, according to him, and as reported by The Blast, Gypsy had to console him because he couldn’t stop crying over what he had done.

She said, “I felt terrible about it. When he and I were in the hotel room… he [Gypsy] kept telling me, ‘Stop crying, stop crying. No reason to cry. It’s my idea, it’s not yours.’ I do what I do because I love him. I really want a life with him, I really do.”

Dee Dee’s Lie Keeps Gypsy From Learning About Her Body Until She Goes To Jail

In the midst of celebrating her December 28 release, Gypsy recently shared that she never learned how to use a tampon until she went to prison.

Even though she was in her 20s when she was sentenced, it turns out that her late mother never taught her how to use a tampon because she often lied about her age. Describing the experience, he detailed during an interview:

“It’s not your typical, ‘OK, so I’m going to take you to the store and we’re going to give you a training bra, we’re going to give you pads and tampons.’ None of that. So it was very unusual to learn, and unfortunately, I basically had to come to prison with that skill [Dee Dee] taught me, which is not much.”

Explaining further in an interview for the Lifetime documentary, “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,” Gypsy insisted that Dee Dee made her wear diapers during her period. Upon entering prison, Gypsy had to learn more about her body. About that, he recalled:

“[In prison] I’m around women who have been around a block or two, and they have a lot of life experience. It may not have been the best life experience, but I have gained some positive things from being around other prisoners.”
