The whole issue started last week when Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, asked people to “pray” for the young couple.
The “Usual Suspects” actor shared a post from Victor Marx, founder of All Things Possible Ministries, featuring Justin playing guitar and singing along to “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever” by Delirious? and Hillsong Worship.
“Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to pray for them to find wisdom, protection and draw closer to God,” Marx wrote in the now-deleted clip.
According to the news outlet, he also stated that his family, along with Hailey’s mother, Kennya Baldwin, “often pray together” for them.
“There is a special challenge faced by people who have a high position of vision and the enemy also does not want them to get close to Jesus,” he wrote in the caption. “Often regardless of material things or praise, they often face intense spiritual warfare and seek to destroy their faith, marriage, and life in general. So thank you.”
Stephen reposted it to his Instagram story but didn’t add more context, prompting fans to jump to some conclusions.
