2022 will be remembered as the year Bieber tries to bring peace to the ‘girl world!’
For years, rumors have circulated that Bieber and his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, have been dating each other. Almost five years since The Biebers married, the couple are constantly being reminded of Justin’s old flame online.
Hailey took it to the microphone to clear the air once and for all on the “Call Your Dad” podcast.
Mrs. Biebs told host Alex Cooper that there was no cheating on her part; she and Justin were not romantically involved while she was still dating Gomez.
“It was very fast and very fast,” Bieber recalls of the beginning of her relationship with her man, “which seemed very drastic and very crazy,” she said.
He would defend his character when the couple discussed the possibility of cheating.
“It’s not in my character to mess with someone’s relationship,” Bieber said, “I would never do that. I was raised better than that. I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anyone. That’s the end of it,” he exclaimed.
Bieber and Gomez would also make the internet’s collective jaw drop after they were photographed together while at an event together. InStyle Magazine shared the photo on their Instagram account and captioned it, “WITNESSING HISTORY.”
Bieber also maintained there was “never” any tension between the two women. “This is all respect. It’s all love,” he said of his relationship with Gomez.

Bieber closed out his big year with a set of Instagram photos where he showed off the many happy moments captured throughout the year.
In a set of photos posted Monday afternoon, fans can see Bieber cozying up to a Christmas tree, cuddling with his husband on a ski trip, dancing at a New Year’s Eve party, some puppy snuggles, some favorite selfies, and something really sweet; one shot chocolate donut!
She captioned her set of photos “Holiday Dump. [snow flake emoji] [sun emoji] best time good friend. Happy New Year.” she also graced the post with a lighthearted emoji!
The set has received over three thousand comments, most of which wish Bieber a happy new year!
