Haley pens valentines for Trump to send to Putin, Xi, Kim Jong Un: ‘I love dictators, and they love me’

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley celebrated Valentine’s Day by taking a dig at her old boss, former President Donald Trump, by writing several “love letters” on his behalf.

“Happy Valentine’s Day from Donald Trump to dictators around the world! For years, Trump has expressed his love for the world’s most brutal dictators and praised their strength and leadership skills,” Haley’s campaign said in a statement.

His campaign launched several “love letters” highlighting quotes from Trump, 77, about some of the US’s main enemies.

Haley, 52, who served as Trump’s US ambassador to the UN from 2017 to 2018, has long leaned on her foreign policy experience as part of her key pitch to voters.

“Red roses. Violet is blue. I love dictators & they love me too,” said the first directed at Trump himself.

The Trump campaign quickly dismissed the matter.

“Nikki ‘Birdbrain’ Haley has a minor league brain in a major league world. He is too stupid to understand that President Trump is bringing peace and prosperity to the country,” spokesman Steven Cheung told The Post.

“Meanwhile, Haley wants to bow to China and throw America into war forever.”

“He [Kim] wrote me a beautiful letter, and it was a great letter. We’re in love,” another Haley “Valentine” campaign aimed at North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said.

Since then Trump has made similar statements about Kim on numerous occasions.

In the latter half of his term, the 45th president sought to ease strained relations with the pariah nation.

“He is strong like a granite stone, he is strong, I know him very well, President Xi of China … what can I say: he handles 1.4 billion people with an iron hand,” said the card addressed to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

This is something Trump said last year during a rally in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

While at times underhanded about Xi’s political grip on China and praising his ingenuity, Trump has talked about getting tough on Beijing.

When asked about rumors he was considering a 60% tariff on China, Trump told Fox News this month, “Maybe it will be more than that.”

“Taleban, good fighters, I’ll tell you, good fighters. You have to give them credit for that. They have been fighting for a thousand years. All they do is they fight,” the letter to the Taliban said.

Around the time the Taliban overthrew the coalition-backed government in Afghanistan in August 2021, Trump went on Fox News and emphasized the terrorist group’s strength.

His administration helped broker the Doha Agreement, which laid the groundwork for the US withdrawal.

“I called President Putin from Russia to congratulate him on his election victory. The Fake News Media is going crazy because they want me to condemn it. They are wrong!” card addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

In 2018, Trump called Putin and congratulated him on his re-election victory.

He later defended the decision amid intense criticism.

Putin is once again vying for another term as Russia’s head of state.

Trump has long struggled with criticism of him singing the dictator’s praises.

“You know when I say he’s brilliant, everybody says, ‘Oh, that’s terrible,'” Trump let loose on Fox News with an angry face while discussing his praise of Xi. “He handles 1.4 billion people with iron nails. Smart. excellent Everything is perfect.”
