Halle Berry isn’t too happy with Drake (or SZA), considering they used one of her photos to promote their new song, “Slime You Out.” You can guess what the picture is, right?
Halle Berry Decides To Be A “Bigger Man”

On September 15, both Drake and SZA posted pictures of Halle Berry, covered in slime aka Nickelodeon, to promote their new song, “Slime You Out.”
Both pictures of them carry barfing emojis with Drake adding a green heart and SZA putting on a laughing face, with watchful eyes. While everyone seemed to love the song, with fans writing that their two voices blended beautifully, Halle Berry wasn’t so happy. Apparently, his photo was used by both of them without his permission but despite that, all he sent was a subtle note – writing in a post he shared online, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger man, even if you’re a woman!”
Not everyone felt she deserved to be scolded, as one Instagram user sent her directly, “You’re not actually the real official cover art, she just posted the picture to announce it. You’re trying too hard to be a victim.”
Other fans also felt his anger was unjustified, as they wrote, “Aren’t you really mad at your friend for using that old photo? He didn’t get your permission to wear you on his jacket that time and you weren’t mad!”
Here are the posts that have made Halle Berry unhappy:

A fan finally stood up and asked Halle Berry, “What do you think [on] Drake used that picture of you for his single?”
He replied, “Didn’t get my permission. That’s not good I think better of him!” He also wrote another reply to the comment, “Hence my post today. When people you admire let you down, you have to be the bigger person and move on!”
Another social media user felt, “I will be more disappointed with the meaning of the picture. What does ‘slime you’ really mean? Hmm…” Halle had an answer here too, agreeing with the commenter, “Exactly! What does it mean?”
Meanwhile, it’s not as if Drake is quietly sitting around. While he didn’t directly respond to Berry’s accusations, he did have this to say:
While many feel it’s a crude depiction of “sex,” others offer, “If you guys aren’t old, you’ll understand how deep it goes lmao… “your slime” means doing someone wrong in a relationship… end of story.” More followers agreed, “He’s covered in slime at [Nickelodeon] Kid’s Choice Award and that’s literally a line in the song? Not so serious.”

THIS IS WHY HE’S ANGER WITH DRAKE

Finally, as the back-and-forth between commenters continued, some siding with Berry and others taking Drake, one fan asked him, “While I understand your side, the photo is owned by Getty Images. So I’m sure he got their permission. And pay the fee. ?? why are you angry?”
The “Monster’s Ball” actor also shot straight from the hip, writing, “Because he asked me and I said NO, that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do? That’s your f–k to me. Not cool . You understand?”
Many saw her POV clearly, as one person wrote, “Omg! He asked you. You are an af–king icon and one of the forbidden icons. This is very disrespectful. What happened to respect & protect? I am very angry!!!”
Of course, many still felt that Berry was making a mountain out of a molehill, and all Drake had to say in response, was this:

TLDR; apparently Drake contacted Halle Berry and asked to use a picture of her covered in slime to promote his and SZA’s new song. Berry refuses but Drake goes and uses it. What do you think about it all?
