Halsey Thanks ‘Energetic’ Crowd In Bahrain Concert After Facing Some Rough Moments

Halsey joined her “Love & Power” Tour and just a few days ago, after finishing Barcelona and Portugal, she went to Bahrain.

Apparently he encountered a rough crowd there, though he thanked them for the “energy.”

Meanwhile, the mention of “pride” in Bahrain has confused some people!

Halsey finally posted a set of photos from her Bahrain concert showing her having fun on stage, with some photos of fans and audience as well.

The 28-year-old singer wrote, “Groundbreaking and History-Making Show in Bahrain last week. The first summer concert (and during Pride at that!) and the first for a foreign female headliner. ?? the crowd is unbelievable, so energetic. Thank you for accepting me!”

The post came a week after a fan complained on his Instagram, “Are you embarrassed to say you’re in Bahrain? Your Middle Eastern fans don’t deserve to be on your page? You are strong and you can say where you stand and f–k the critics. I will be sad if you don’t post anything about us as Arab fans.”

Meanwhile, those who watched the concert seemed mesmerized, leaving comments appreciating the “Closer” singer:

“Thank you for performing and making one of my dreams come true.. hope to see you again one day please come back.”

“Best night of my life!? I really hope next time you come to Saudi!! So much love for you here.”

While Halsey appreciated the crowd’s energy, it seemed some fans got a little rough. Although the “Lilith” singer did not mention any such rough handling, some of her fans took pity on the way she was almost pulled into the crowd over the barricade by a fan she reached out to touch.

Wrote some of the more disappointed fans:

“I’m sorry guys were rude to you during your public interaction—I hope you’re ok!”

“’So much energy’ yes, it shows in the video the guy who literally pulls you off the barricade ? I hope you’re still having fun though, it looks like a killer show ?”

Here is a picture of the crowd that seems to be pulling his hand:

More spectators complained about the lack of security and organization as well.

“The organizers of this event FAILED miserably, none of them were on site. The place is an evil zoo. Worst experience and worst concert, shame we didn’t get to enjoy Halsey as intended.”

“The performers were amazing but the security failed miserably, grown men kept pushing and shoving us and the security was NOTHING!!! there are many staff for what??? terrible organization!!! stampedes can easily happen with the way people run as soon as the doors open! next time let people enter in groups!”

In her caption, Halsey said “proud” and fans wondered how true it was, given that Bahrain is a Muslim country.

Wrote one fan, “Bahrain has Pride?? I don’t want to be the one to test the limits of tolerance in Bahrain but there you go, girl!! I’m sure you blew the roof off that place.”

Another asked, “What is pride in Bahrain? What did I miss?”. So one Instagram user explained, “I don’t want to shock you, but Bahrain is the only Arab country that allows homosexuality ?️‍?. They allow it. I’ve seen a lot of gay people at Halsey concerts.”

It seems that Bahrain is more tolerant of the LGBTQ+ community than its neighbors, something that many Instagram users are happy to know.

That said, someone told her, “There is no pride in the Muslim world Halsey please respect that.”

For others, it was a Hijab photo, and so one Instagram user fanned Halsey, saying:

“Out of all those fans, you decided to post photos of some fans with Hijab, I love you because I know no matter where we come from or what religion we have, you always look at us and respect us as we respect you and also love you . ! I’m proud to be your fan, Halsey.”
