A harrowing new video captures the moment Hamas terrorists and their units celebrated Israel’s invasion and killed an IDF soldier on October 7 before fatally shooting himself.
The 100-minute body cam footage, provided by the IDF to CNN, also offers a rare glimpse into Hamas’ tunnel system 300 miles under Gaza, showing the terror group’s supply caches in narrow passages with the words, “The hidden ones are far worse.” written in Arabic.
On the ground, the video follows a 24-year-old Hamas member joining a group of men in pickup trucks and motorcycles as they cross the border between Gaza and Israel shouting, “Allahu Akbar.”
The terrorists could be seen equipped with rifles and millions of rounds of ammunition, with some carrying multiple rocket-propelled grenades sticking out of backpacks slung over their shoulders.
The men appeared uncoordinated as they drove around Israel before reaching a field near the town of Kissufim, where they began a shootout with an IDF soldier.

A gunman with a bodycam rushes in, opening fire with his rifle while shielding one of the terrorists carrying a grenade.
Seeing the Israeli soldier on the ground, the gunman fired several times at close range, killing the Jewish soldier.
The gunman proceeded to steal the soldier’s Tavor rifle and celebrate the kill, posing for a selfie with his body camera as other terrorists joined in and cheered him on.
In the aftermath of the killing, the gunman appeared calmer than when the invasion began, trumpeting his victory as he introduced himself to the cameras.

He described himself as a father and added that he had killed two Israeli soldiers. He then asked God for a “worthy martyrdom.”
The celebration of the Hamas units continued as they passed the bodies of Israelis lying on the other side of the road.
With the road opened for them by the first wave of Hamas, the group proceeded to Kibbutz Re’im, where the gunman got out of his vehicle to shoot an IDF soldier from a distance.

At that point, someone from the base returned fire, hitting the gunman, who screamed as he rolled on the ground.
The 24-year-old screamed in shock and pain before his breathing began to slow and he eventually died, ending his role in the terror attack.

While one gunman died that morning, Hamas attacks would continue for hours as the terrorists killed some 1,200 people in Israel on October 7 and kidnapped nearly 240 others.
The attack sparked Israel’s all-out war against Hamas, with the IDF launching airstrikes and ground invasions to destroy the terrorist group.
