A Hamas terrorist admitted in detail to his role in killing women and children during the October 7 massacre in Israel, according to a new video interview.
Omar Sami Marzuk Abu Rusha, a member of Hamas’s Nukhba special forces, is seen discussing his killing in a video released by Israel’s internal security department Shin Bet on Wednesday.
Abu Rusha told investigators that he was among the forces deployed to Kfar Aza, near the Gaza border, tasked with one purpose.
“Our miss is to kill. We shouldn’t kidnap, only to kill,” he said. “To kill everyone we see and come back.”
As he recounted his role in the massacre that left more than 1,400 dead, Abu Rusha chronicled the harrowing moment he and his fellow gunmen slaughtered a group of children who were hiding from them.
“We checked the house and heard the sound of a small child in the safe room. We shot in a safe room … until we didn’t hear any noise anymore,” he said.

The haunting confession is the latest issued by Israel after the Jewish State vowed to destroy Hamas through airstrikes and a sustained ground invasion of Gaza.
Abu Rusha, who was filmed sitting in the corner of a white room next to an Israeli flag, discussed the organized way in which he and his unit ambushed the residents of Kfar Aza.

“We moved in the first house. We checked and there was nothing there,” he said. “Hamzeh A-Zarad set the outer room on fire, set it on fire.

“Then someone came out towards the back garden with a water hose – Abu Ahmed and Hamzeh saw him, shot him and killed him,” Abu Rusha said of the despicable trap set by his allies.
The terrorists repeated their actions throughout the village, with Abu Rusha saying they shot a woman who was taking cover inside her house.
“We went to the third house. There was a woman inside. Hamza killed him, he shot him,” he said.

He assured the investigating officer that the woman was killed even though the terrorists never entered the house to check.
After killing scores of children in an adjacent safe room, Abu Rusha said he and his unit were caught in a firefight with IDF soldiers who responded, with terrorists throwing grenades.

Like previous terrorists interviewed by Israel, Abu Rusha said he was aware that Islam forbids the killing of women, children and the elderly, but said that Nukhba officers still gave them orders to kill everyone.
The arrested terrorist later admitted that his parents were not aware that he was a member of Hamas.
“If my father saw me, he would shoot me,” he said. “He’s going to kill me… because I did that act.”
After being shown images and videos of Hamas atrocities on October 7, the terrorist also said his group was no different from ISIS.
