Hamas terrorists who attacked Israel were promised $10,000 and an apartment if they captured hostages and brought them back to Gaza, one jihadist revealed in interrogation video.
“In Gaza, whoever brings hostages gets a grant – an apartment and $10,000,” the terrorist said in a recording released by Israel’s Shin Bet security agency, the Jerusalem Post reported.
“His instructions were to kidnap old women and children … clear the house and kidnap as many prisoners as possible,” he told investigators.
Another terrorist claimed he was scolded by his commander for shooting dead a woman – because it was a waste of ammunition.
“His body was lying on the floor. I shot him, and my commander yelled at me for throwing bullets on a corpse,” he said, according to a recording of one of the six terrorists being interrogated.
The terrorists explained that they cannot distinguish between civilians and soldiers when killing people during their rampage.

A terrorist described entering a house after his friends had shot a resident.
“Two [terrorists] enter the house. … We hear a voice within. two more [terrorists] come in There is one [Israeli] lying on the floor next to the door. I don’t know if he is dead, but there is blood next to him,” he said.
“Inside there was a man injured … I think the whole family. In their pajamas. The injured man was in his underwear. A woman comes out wearing a dress … then another in a dress. [Then] a man and a woman,” said the terrorist.

“We went to the house next door. From there, they took out a woman. An old woman,” he added.
He was then asked if civilians were used as human shields and replied, “Yes.”
Another terrorist, who was in Kibbutz Be’eri massacre, said, “When I entered the city, I saw two [terrorists] ride a motorcycle. They took a woman about 60 to 65 years old [with them] on a motorcycle.”
Terrorists also described how they used smoke to force people out of their shelters and shoot pets.

Each was asked if what they were doing was allowed in Islam.
“No. Islam does not allow the killing of women and children,” replied one, repeating what others had also admitted.
