Hiriyur took home the trophy of Indian television series Comedy Khiladigalu- Season 4 on ZEE Kannada along with a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs. The show is hosted by Master Anand and has Prem, Rakshitha, and Jaggesh as judges. Upon winning, Harish was also felicitated with a medal by judge Jaggesh.

Harish is a theater artist who has performed in several street plays. He is also the vice-president of the Akhila Karnataka Vratti Theater Artists Association. He has played several roles in dramas including Mukah in the drama Kunta Kona Mukah Jana, Chilkya in Chaddi Chilkya, Maddi Malkya, and Harish in Mangalore Waiter, Hubli Rani. He has also appeared in many Kannada dramas including Kunta-Kona-Mooka-Jana.
