According to recent reports, the Prince and Princess of Wales extended an olive branch to the Sussexes, urging them to bring their children on their next visit to the UK.
In an interview with MirrorRoyal commentator Tom Quinn revealed that while Kate was enthusiastic about the idea of meeting Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in England, Meghan rejected the offer.
“There’s no way Meghan will bring the kids to the UK,” Quinn explained. “William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and both couples and their families try to get along, but that suggestion has gone nowhere so far.”

Archie and Lilibet were last in the UK during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, and although Meghan and Harry returned for the late Queen’s funeral in September of the same year, security concerns prevented them from bringing their children, as they no longer had Security which is funded by the UK.

According to Grant Harrold, a former butler to King Charles, the couple is looking for a temporary return to the UK royal circle and has initiated a relationship with William and Kate to achieve this goal.
Speak to New York Post, Harrold insisted that “Reconciliation with Harry and Meghan is possible, 100%.

He emphasized the potential for reconciliation, stating, “I can believe, without any doubt, that Harry will reach out to Kate and William and offer his help – whether they accept it or not is a very different thing, but I honestly believe Harry will contact Meghan personally.”
“Unfortunately, it’s times like these that bring families together, and blood is thicker than water,” he added.

The Sussexes appear to have been unaware of Kate’s cancer diagnosis, as a source said they had “no idea” the princess was undergoing treatment and only found out about her health status after she announced it in a video.

Harrold explained why Harry was excluded from plans for the future of the monarchy: “Because [Harry’s] previous documentaries, that may not necessarily be the king’s thinking but the royal family—the offices that run it.”
He added: “Harry still [a] the state councilor and knows secret information because he is technically capable of replacing the king, so it makes no sense why he isn’t kept in the loop. If he’s still not the national adviser then that will be a very different matter.”

The former butler continued: “The King has or must have had a close relationship with Harry – if this is true, I don’t understand why the King would not want to share his plans.”
“There may be a feeling of not sharing following all the documentaries and interviews Harry has done. However, in his recent meeting with the king, Harry did not share details about it,” Harrold said.
