Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle may receive a cold reception if they visit King Charles to spend the festive season.
Recently there were speculations that the two are set to travel but have yet to receive an invitation. Reports now claim that many senior members of the royal family will not welcome them with open arms.
Prince William, Harry’s older brother, is said to be one of those opposed to such a visit from Harry and Meghan, given their frosty relationship.
The Sussexes Will Not Be Greeted At Christmas

Recent reports suggest that Harry and Meghan are open to spending the festive season with King Charles at Sandringham. However, some insiders claim that not everyone will receive their signal.
According to the source, the Sussex family’s recent warm progress and willingness to visit Her Majesty for the holiday season has been seen as “strange”, especially as they have not visited the royal residence since 2018.
“Which begs the question, why now,” an insider said of the situation as reported by Daily Mail. “Does it have something to do with the fact that some of their commercial offerings, like Spotify, have fallen on deaf ears and they’ve been the subject of ridicule in the US on shows like South Park and Family Guy?”
The source also seemed to suggest that Harry and Meghan now realize that “complaining about how bad it is to be a member of the Royal Family, isn’t that a great strategy?”
Prince William Allegedly Opposes Harry & Meghan’s Visit

Although the Sussexes’ visit has yet to be confirmed, as no invitations have been sent to them, it is believed that the Prince of Wales, Prince William, is one of those who feel uncomfortable with their presence.
For a brief period, Harry and Meghan, along with William and his wife, Kate Middleton, were tagged as the Fab Four. However, the relationship between the two parties is said to be non-existent, having deteriorated steadily since Harry and Meghan chose to step back from their roles in the royal family in 2020.
Recently, it was reported that there is “no going back” between Harry and William and that their perspective has changed over time, each Hollywood life.

The timing coincides with when William and his wife are expected to return to their Anmer Hall home, eliminating the possibility of an explosive meeting.
“It definitely has the advantage of killing two birds with one stone; extend an olive branch to one son without troubling the other,” the insider said, per the Daily Mail.
Another source claimed arrangements had already been made for someone else before Harry and Meghan appeared to show interest, which would cause too many logistical problems if changed this late.
“Christmas plans are usually made now because Sandringham isn’t a big place and there isn’t much room for the whole extended family,” the insider said, adding, “New Year in Scotland is more likely.”
Harry & Meghan Invite King Charles On His 75th Birthday

Earlier this month, there appeared to be a “tipping point” in Harry and Meghan’s relationship with King Charles after they had a friendly chat with him on his 75th birthday.
Former royals were conspicuously absent from the actual royal celebrations, reportedly because they were not invited. Nevertheless, they contacted the king by phone, seen as an initial effort to rebuild relations with him.
As well as Harry and Meghan speaking to the King, their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also sent their grandfather happy birthday wishes. They did so via a pre-recorded video in which they were seen singing “Happy Birthday.”
