Some Royal experts have slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s biographer, Omid Scobie, and his newly released memoir for its appalling content and timing. The new book was published during King Charles’ birthday celebrations, which Harry, Meghan and their children did not attend.
In the book, Scobie claims that Harry was kept in the dark about Queen Elizabeth’s health before her death. He also spoke about how Harry and William’s fraternal relationship was damaged beyond repair after leaving the Royal family and the controversy “replace” memoir.

Omid Scobie has released a new book about Harry and Meghan titled “Game over.” After the contents of the book became public, some Royal experts criticized Scobie for his words and the timing of his release. This week is also King Charles’ 75th birthday and the premiere of the sixth and final season of “The Crown.”
Phil Dampier, a Royal journalist and author, spoke to Daily Mail about the new book. He said: “We all know that Scobie is their mouthpiece and he gets his information directly or indirectly from the Sussexes, so anything that offends Charles, Camilla or William and Kate, will only make things worse. Let’s put it this way – I can’t see Harry and Meghan coming for a family Christmas.”
Dampier stressed that King Charles has been open to reconciliation with Harry so far, but the new book may spoil that chance. He went on to claim that despite the close relationship between Harry, Meghan, and Scobie, the couple may eventually cut ties with the author.

Insiders talk about the contents and condemn Scobie for digging things up. They said, “It doesn’t seem to matter what goes on behind closed doors, even in such a time of pain and grief, where the Royal family fears it will one day emerge.”
They also said that Scobie clearly saw William and Kate as targets and knew no bounds in his attacks. Scobie, who previously wrote a biography about Harry and Meghan titled “Seeking Freedom,” said the couple completely unaware that the Royal Family had begun preparing for Queen Elizabeth’s death in the previous days and weeks.

In the extract he shared with People’s Magazine, the author claims that “there is no return”. In the Duke of Sussex’s memoirs, he made some serious allegations against his brother, including that they fell out over William’s allegedly insulting comments to Meghan. He also talks about other members of the Royal Family in the memoir, including his stepmother, Queen Camilla.
Scobie claimed that William felt that he had truly “lost Harry and didn’t want to know this version of him.” The book will be officially released on November 28, and the allegations will finally become public.
