Career
After completing his engineering, in 2012, Harsh started his career with RateGain company in Noida as a database engineer with a monthly salary of Rs 13000. Later, he worked in several multinational companies like HCL, IBM and TCS. Along with corporate work, Harsh used to perform in open mic shows and comedy shows. While working in a company, Harsh was asked to move to London for a year to perform in some comedy shows. After returning from London, Harsh hosted his company’s party in India and later he tended to do crowd work comedy. As a result, he quit his job to pursue his career as a full-time comedian. To begin with, he started doing comedy shows at the Canvas Laugh Club comedy club.

Along with performing at several comedy clubs, Harsh created a self-titled YouTube channel, where he posted various comedy videos; the channel has more than 1 million subscribers. In 2019, Harsh uploaded the first video on his YouTube channel titled “Indian Reality Show,” which became popular when the video garnered 1 million views within four days of its release. His notable YouTube comedy videos include Shaadi Ke Rasmein (2019), Kanpur & River Ganga (2020), and Sasta Vicky Kaushal (2020).

His video, Shadi Ki Rasmein, has over 21 million views on YouTube. In 2021, he collaborated with stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi for a video titled Harsh & Bassi Unleashed; the video got about 28 million views on YouTube.

Criticized for talking rudely to a woman
In January 2023, Harsh Gujral uploaded a video on his Instagram handle, captioned as “Sharaab peeke mere show me hahahahaha……suno mai Jyada “HIGH” rehta hu stage pe.” In the video, Harsh talks to a woman in an offensive and unpleasant manner following which she is severely beaten by netizens. Several users commented on the post, which read,
Jis many paisa ata hi! We work a lot, I work a lot ki ijjat krle bhai. regardless of gender.”

Good but don’t like your foul language .. especially when you talk to a woman.”
