Hayma Malini is a Singaporean radio presenter and TV producer. She is the wife of Indian singer Yugendran Vasudevan, who is the son of Malaysia Vasudevan, a famous Tamil playback singer and actor from Malaysia.

In 1999, Yugendran performed at the launch of a Tamil radio station in Sri Lanka called ‘Swarna Oli,’ where he met Hayma Malini. On 29 November 1999, she married Yugendran, an Indian Singaporean actor, singer, host and music director. In 2023, her husband, Yugendran, participated in the Tamil version of the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ season 7, which aired on Star Vijay and aired on Disney+ Hotstar.

Career
In 1993, he started working at Singapore Airlines; however, he left his job in 1994. In 1999, he moved to Sri Lanka and started working at Columbo Communications.
Beauty pageant contest
Hayma Malini has won various beauty pageant titles in Singapore and also represented Singapore in international pageants. In 1994, she won the Miss Singapore Intercontinental title and represented Singapore in Germany. She has won many titles including Miss Model (1995) and Miss Singapore Tourism (1997) and has represented Singapore in many countries such as Turkey, Macau, and the United States. He joined Mrs. Singapore Globe 2007 held in America.

Radio Presenter & Host
He works as an RJ for Oli 96.8FM. He has won the title of Singapore Channel’s most popular host three times in a row. He is a popular host on Star Vijay TV, where he hosted the Tamil reality singing competition ‘Super Singer’ in 2009.

Hayma Malini and Yugendran founded two companies called ‘Rambutan Productions’ in India and ‘Rambutan Media Works’ in Singapore. Controversy
In 2018, Hayma Malini accused lyricist Vairamuthu of sexually harassing her after award-winning singer Chinmayi claimed Vairamuthu sexually harassed her. Hema Malini spoke about her disorder in a Facebook post, which read,
When I was at Sun Music, I personally witnessed Vairamuthu trying to freshen up with one of the young presenters… And I have talked about him on many levels for more than 10 years! I salute Chinmayi for being the voice of the voiceless! Time for introspection by the industry…(sic).”
