Heather formed the Beehive Singers after graduating and released a self-titled CD in 1990. Heather has also performed as a guest singer on records by The Breithaupt Brothers, Caliban Bassoon Quartet, Irving Dobbs, and the late Peter Appleyard. In 2012, he co-founded Broadway with fellow Toronto-based artists Diane Leah and Julie Michels. Old Friends and The Most Wonderful Time… Probably their two studio albums.
He is also a voice artist in addition to being a vocalist. He has also voiced characters in Odd Job Jack, The Dating Guy, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That, Atomic Puppet, and other shows.
