When Tammy found out about her husband’s infidelity, she confronted Elvis with numerous text messages, threatening him violently. Elvis and Moorer ended their romance in September 2013. Heather was working at a beauty salon in downtown Myrtle Beach at the time. On the night of December 17, 2013, when Elvis went missing, he went on a date with Steven Schiraldi. Steven had also taught him how to drive a car in the Inlet Square Mall parking lot, which Elvis had photographed and forwarded to his father and Warrelman. Schiraldi dropped Elvis off at his Carolina Forest apartment at 1:15 am
He was the last person Elvis saw that day. Elvis’ mobile phone was then disconnected at 6am, and he has not been seen since. Elvis’ vehicle, a green Dodge Intrepid, was found about 8 miles (13 kilometers) from his apartment at the Peachtree Landing boat landing along the Waccamaw River in Socastee on the evening of December 19, 2013. When the vehicle was unlocked, nothing was found, including her phone, keys and handbag.
