Heather Rae Young is finally showing off her unborn baby’s nursery!
While she awaits the birth of her first child with husband Tarek El Moussa, the reality star gave fans a glimpse of her room. The move is in line with the “mommy updates” Heather has been releasing since revealing her pregnancy nearly nine months ago.

After kicking off the new year with a sweet get-together with Tarek and his two kids — Taylor and Brayden — at their home, Heather refocused on her baby. To that end, the “Selling Sunset” star happily showed off how she designed her baby boy’s room ahead of his early 2023 arrival.
Wearing a white sleeveless top and dark pants, the expectant mother stood in front of the door, telling her three million followers that it was a “very special day.” She then stepped into her “baby boy nursery” which had taken her “months and months” to design.
In the room there are “elephant touches” in the form of framed pictures and teddy bears because Heather is “obsessed with them.” The 35-year-old then showcased a hammock that tied the room’s aesthetic together with non-toxic black-and-white paint.
Another thing that goes well with matching rooms is the dressing table next to the crib. Heather ends the Instagram clip by walking to the window, stating:
“We’re thinking about what we want to do. We want it to be [a] soothing environment. So we want to close the curtains, rock him to sleep [which] lead me to my comfy Baby Latto chair.”
He added that his obsession with the chair was based on it being velvet and “easy to put together because we didn’t have to put it together. It came like this.” Below the clip, Heather wrote in part:
“El Moussa Baby Nursery Revealed!! Now that her room is ready, I’m more than ready for her to be here!! But for now, I’m just going to take some time to soak it all in.”
With 50k+ likes, fans also flocked to the comments section to vent their views and helpful advice for expectant mothers. One jokingly commented, “Can you tell she’s a new mom? Black velvet chairs in the nursery [laughter emojis].”
Another advised, “try not to wear your outdoor shoes in his room so you can give him time to stomach. less germs,” and a third added, “You’re going to want another chair, I’m sorry Heather. You definitely want something you can take a quick nap with tied up.”
Heather previously shared design ideas with her followers, asking them to guess which room her baby boy would be in. According to The Blast, “The Flipping El Moussas” star has been using her boyfriend and kids’ family vacation to “do some nesting and planning.”
The “Christmas in Compton” cast shared a photo highlighting the different nursery plans, with the first featuring a black-and-white room decorated in shades of matching pillows, teddies and wall pictures.

The next idea is a neutral color room filled with wooden cream cribs, matching walls and wall frames near the crib. Other slides include a monochrome room with a mix of nude and black-and-white decor, a plant-inspired nursery decorated with matching wallpaper and a room similar to the first selection.

Last month, The Blast reported that Heather was eager to share what she had learned from childbirth classes. Alongside a selfie showing her wearing a brown top under a white fur-like jacket and matching white nails, the social media influencer explained:
“I really can’t believe this year is almost over. I feel like the last few months didn’t even exist- Do we have a November?? Lol As the end of my pregnancy is approaching, I am in final preparations by 2023.”
She added that until she went into labor, she would make Tarek “stop whatever he was doing to get me to the hospital.” However, the trainer taught him “a few tricks to try before rushing to the hospital,” equipping him with “so much information I didn’t know.”
Heather ended her caption by highlighting her willingness to “bring this boy into the world,” receiving support from her fans and followers.
