Kelsea Ballerini shares her perspective on the sleazy acts that are now taking place during concerts.
The singer openly gave his opinion on the recent trend of concertgoers throwing objects at musicians during their live performances, calling the act “unsafe.” Ballerini was at the end of the movement when she was hit with a bracelet while performing in Boise, Idaho, in June.
Kelsea Ballerini Has Maintained Her Stand About The Safety Of Her Fans Being Her Priority
Ballerini held nothing back when she addressed the phenomenon of fans hitting their favorite artists in the face with unattractive objects while they were on stage. Speaking exclusively to The Messenger EntertainmentThe “half from my hometown” singer stated:
“I think one of two things is happening. I think either the fans want the artist’s attention or there’s a trend going on that gets a lot of pickups and [going viral] and someone, I wouldn’t say fans, people in the crowd want that. Either way, it’s not safe.”

Continuing the chat, which started because of his partnership with The Original Donut Shop, he added, “I think it’s a conversation. I think I can speak for myself. I have a lot of young girls on my show, so keeping everyone safe is the biggest priority, more than putting on a good show. It keeps everyone safe.”
“I’m off the streets now,” Ballerini said before revealing that he didn’t know “what people do to prevent things like that.” However, he’s sure it’s a “conversation” he hopes “everyone is having and it’s not worth it.”
In case you missed it, The Blast reports that the award-winning artist stopped her performance after the bracelet hit her face to ask, “Can we talk about what just happened?” He then went on to say:
“What I care about is keeping everyone safe. So if you feel unsafe, please let someone around you know. There is security everywhere tonight. If someone is too pushy or you just have a feeling or whatever, always flag it.”
The unfortunate incident also prompted a response from the official fan page of the “If You’re Down (I’m Down Too)” performer, which issued a statement stressing the need for caution. They wrote:
“Guys, I know we all mean well. We all want to show Kelsea some love the best way we know how and shower her with gifts. But throwing something on stage when the artist is already very vulnerable is NOT the way to go. If you can’t leave it to him, there are plenty of other options. God, give us! We will make sure it reaches him. But PLEASE don’t put him in danger like this.”

The message, which was shared in June, wrapped, “Again, I know you all mean well, but this becomes a safety issue. We love you all. We do. But please stop.”
The Radio Disney Music Award Winner Is Unfamiliar With Her Life Going Public
Despite being in the public eye since the start of her music career in 2014, Ballerini still finds it challenging to face public scrutiny of her personal life. In a recent interview published on July 10, the “Peter Pan” artist mentioned that he has been “putting in the work” over the past decade building his career.
However, she explained, “the eyeballs on the rest of my life are new, so I give myself a lot of grace.” Admitting that he has had to grace himself several times throughout his career, he stated:
“I’ve always thought of myself as one thing, a shiny, luscious blonde who sings country music. I’ve realized over the last few years, as I’ve come to understand myself, and really stepped into my womanhood, that I’m really open to discovering more about myself. I’m in such a season of play right now.”
The CMT Music Award winner also admitted how her current relationship with Chase Stokes has helped her navigate her life. He said, “What we’ve decided, and to each their own, is when you’re with someone you feel safe and you’re proud to be with, why not share that?”
