Here’s How Nick Cannon Decides Whose Baby Mama’s House He Sleeps In

Nick Cannon may be famous for fathering twelve children with multiple women, but his polygamous lifestyle has some upsides.

The multi-hyphenate star gained recognition from a young age as an actress in “All That” before becoming the international sensation she is today. Outside of his career, the 42-year-old has gained attention for raising a large child.

The California native seems to maintain a good relationship with the mother of his children and recently opened up about their relationship in a heart-to-heart interview. Read on for more details.

Nick Cannon Reveals His System For Choosing Which Partner To Sleep With

During a recent discussion with the Los Angeles Times, the rapper-turned-actor opened up about his life as a father of twelve. The “Drumline” star welcomed his children with six different women, making co-parenting challenging.

The TV personality confessed that he spends most of his time with his children by acting as their driver. To achieve this role, the “Gigolo” artist often chooses where to spend the night based on which child he sent last.

Although the Nickelodeon alum has properties in New Jersey, Temecula, and an upcoming spot in Joshua Tree, the turban fanatic revealed he keeps a few clothes at his partner’s house whenever he stays over. On how he decides where to sleep, the 42-year-old states:

“Many times any of them called me that day, to be honest. I am a creature of habit. I like people who like me.”

However, calling the “Wild ‘n Out” host over for the night doesn’t guarantee a steamy session with her partner. After being diagnosed with lupus in 2012, the TV personality explained that her doctor urged her to get at least six hours every night.

To meet their demands, the entertainer claims he goes to bed shortly after his children’s bedtime, around 8 p.m., and wakes up at 2 a.m. Cannon usually spends the night on the couch, excluding weekends when he gets a bed.

When asked about his romantic relationship with his partner, the father of twelve stated that he misses all the action. “Because everyone was so busy, no one wanted to have sex with me,” the California native admitted. “Everyone’s focus is the kids.”

Trading sexual encounters to spend more time with her kids isn’t a bad deal for the “Feelin’ Freaky” rapper. The NAACP Image Award winner said he felt he would be doing his children “harm if he was on an island somewhere, making love to a woman.”

Although he wants to avoid wildlife, the other side has not left the actor as he claims to receive daily DMs from women who see him as a ticket to success. “I think it’s like the 50 Cent model: ‘Have a baby by me, baby, / be a millionaire,” the entertainer declared.

Cannon probably doesn’t regret the decline in his bedroom activity. However, the 42-year-old man feels guilty for not being able to spend quality time with his children. Admitting that he discussed his pain in therapy, the comedian said he tries to make every moment memorable with his children.

“It’s not about what I do for you or what I say to you; it’s about how you feel when I’m with you,” he explained. “If you feel loved when you see your dad, that will resonate.”

As Cannon rotates and chooses the woman whose bed he lies in, he follows a somewhat similar pattern to spending time with all of his children.

Last month, The Blast reported that the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” star revealed why she doesn’t have group hangouts with her kids. The California native explained that she prefers to spend time with her children individually rather than bringing everyone together.

According to the TV personality, her children come together “when necessary.” However, the father of twelve believes he is the sole beneficiary of their gathering. “I feel like a qualitative experience is when I can give everyone their own experience,” claims the doting parent.

“I like to step into their world and go to their sports games or give them time to go on vacation. So I have no problem bouncing,” added the entertainer, noting that things might change.

One is stuck with a multi-dashed star; the 42-year-old admits that his children may have to meet him in the same place. Until that day, Cannon noted that his system made things easier because he didn’t inconvenience anyone by going out to meet his children.
