On February 8, Schnapp shared a TikTok post, showing his followers an emotional text message from his grandfather saying that his decision didn’t change how the old man felt about him. The message reads in part:

Also, the inspiring letter urges “The Tutor” actor to stay true to himself by any means necessary as he will always have the support of other family members. In the words of his grandfather:
