The first Monday in May is always a highlight for those who get invited to the Met Gala, but some of the celebrities invited this year are even more excited, and an invitation to the ever-coveted gala is just the cherry on top!
Serena Williams Is Regal

Professional athlete and her tech entrepreneur husband, Alexis Ohanian, walked the Met carpet in a color-coded black dress. It must be easy to miss Williams’ cute bump. Just before the Met, the tennis star posted a photo of herself and Ohanian in their gala attire. He captioned it:
“So excited when Anna Wintour invited the three of us to the Met Gala.” The two held hands while debuting the bump. This is the couple’s second child, with daughter Alexis Ohanian Jr, 5.
Williams wore an all-black Gucci ensemble with crystal details. She accessorized with a cluster of pearl necklaces and a matching pearl headpiece. Hubby Ohanian donned a black suit and was clean shaven to be a groupie for his wife who Drake accused of being in his joint Losing it album with 21 Savage. A happily married group, we’ll add!
Karlie Kloss Is Glowing

Like Williams, model Karlie Kloss made her red carpet debut and gave followers a good look at her entire ensemble bump. Kloss wore a vintage Karl Lagerfeld design, clearly on trend with the theme of the night.
The gown, made in 1983, was floor-length and featured a smattering of accent jewelry such as a belly chain and chain clusters. Kloss accentuated the feature by wearing a belly chain and a collection of pearl necklaces.

The dress is part of the blurred line collection for Chanel, and not only did Kloss get to wear it, but her baby got in on it, too. The belly chain hugged her bump perfectly. Kloss was so excited to get pregnant at the meeting, she captioned one of her posts, “Baby’s first meeting.”
Kloss didn’t walk the carpet with her husband, Joshua Kushner, an entrepreneur and brother of Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner (she just hung out in the back). This is the second baby for Kloss and Kushner, who have been married since 2018.

The singer, who isn’t shy about showing off her bump, hit the red carpet wearing a black fur coat that covered everything up. The joke is on anyone who thought Bad Gyal Riri would go down like that; she is later seen in an all white dress like a scary angel.
