Movie
In 2008, she made her Bollywood debut with the Bollywood film Apartment: Rent at Your Own Risk (2010), directed by Jag Mundhra. In this film, Hetal shares the screen with actors Rohit Roy, Anupam Kher, Tanushree Dutta, and Neetu Chandra.
Television
In 1995, he made his television debut with the Indian thriller series Aahat. He appeared in an episodic role in the Indian family sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma (2008) on Sony SAB. In 2016, she played the role of Pavitra Singh in the serial ‘Balika Vadhu – Lamhe Pyaar Ke’ where she played the role of Pavitra Singh. He went on to appear in Hindi-language TV series including Uttaran (2008), Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi (2014), Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji (2017), and Imlie (2020). In the show ‘Imlie’ (2020), Hetal plays Shivani Rana.

- Apart from acting, Hetal has a keen interest in dancing and she has choreographed several dances for Hindi TV serials like ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ (2011). In an interview, while talking about his interests, he revealed that initially, he worked as a choreographer; however, he was unable to continue due to lack of experience.
- On December 5, 2022, while on his way home, Hetal’s car had an accident around 8:45 pm. In an interview, while talking about her experience, Hetal said,
I packed up around 8:45 last night and left movie town to get home. As soon as I reached the JVLR expressway, a lorry hit my car and there was friction as the lorry pushed my car towards the edge of the flyover until my car was about to fall. Then, I somehow gathered courage and stopped the car in front of the truck, and called my son. I asked him to inform the police because I was very shocked after the incident.”
