On Easter, April 9, Hilary Swank took to Instagram to give her fans the sweetest news. Dressed in a terry robe and watching the sun rise over the sea, Swank cradled her newborn in the stunning photo, writing, “It’s not easy. But boy (and girl!) is it worth it. ?????”
He also said to everyone, “Happy Easter! ??” showing off her hatchlings and writing that she’s “Broadcasting from pure Heaven.”
The names of the newborns and their birth stories have not yet been revealed. The twins are the first children for Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, whom she married in a private outdoor ceremony on a California preserve in 2018.
The 48-year-old Academy Award winner first revealed her pregnancy in October last year and said she was looking forward to motherhood as “the next thing.” On Instagram, he called it a “double feature.”
Swank was also more than happy to talk about her pregnancy story since motherhood came as a pleasant surprise for her. Said the “Boys Don’t Cry” actor, “And not just one, but two. I couldn’t believe it.” He also added, “It’s really nice to be able to talk about it and share it.”

Her twin bundles of joy were due on April 16, which happened to be her late father’s birthday. The news came out when Hilary Swank appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” which aired in October itself, where host Drew Barrymore started the conversation with, “You just announced that your father passed away a year ago and this miracle happened. .”
Swank then left Barrymore happily as she replied, “Yes and they’ll arrive on her birthday.”
His father, Stephen Michael Swank, died in October 2021 at the age of 73. In December 2021, Swank wrote a tribute to him on Instagram, “I had a somewhat unique relationship with him because I was his sole caregiver after a lung transplant seven years ago. I became very close to him during this time, strengthening our relationship and enjoying every moment we were together. He will always be one of my dearest people and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.”
It looks like her little babies can’t wait another week to be born and celebrate it on Easter instead!
