Khurana is a medical science student at BCM Sr. High School. Ludhiana. His father wanted him to become a nurse but Himanshi was more inclined towards artistic activities. When he was in 11th standard, one of their family friends took his picture and found that Himanshi was very photogenic. He asks her to try modeling. On his advice, she participated in the Miss Ludhiana Pageant and emerged as the winner of the show. In 2010, she remained one of the finalists in Miss PTC Punjabi. In the same year, she won the Miss North Zone competition. She then moved to Delhi and started shooting for various brands. Himanshi Khurana made his debut in 2010, featuring in the music video “Jodi – Big Day Party.” Next, she appeared in the music videos of the songs, “Supna,” “Fasli Batteray,” “Izhaar” and “Naina De Buhe.” In 2013, Himanshi appeared in the music video of the song “Soch” by Hardy Sandu and received wide recognition for her performance. In the same year, she made her acting debut in the Punjabi Film Industry with the film “Sadda Haq.” He gained immense popularity for playing the role of ‘Sukhpreet’ in the film. In 2015, he appeared in the lead role in the film “Leather Life.” During his career, Khurana has featured in several popular music videos including, “Taara” by Ammy Virk, “Insomnia” by Sippy Gill, “Mann Bharya” by B Praak, and “Palazzo” by Kulwinder Bill & Shivjot.

Controversy
In 2019, Himanshi Khurana was involved in a war of words with Punjabi model Shehnaz Kaur Gill. It all started with an interview, where Gill was asked to name one song that he doesn’t like and he answered “I Like It” by Himanshi Khurana. Shehnaz also posted a video on her Instagram handle calling Himanshi a flop. Gill’s statement didn’t sit well with the actor and he got so angry that he went live through his Instagram handle and accused him of having affairs with several men including Khurana’s brother. The war of words did not end here but reached a phase where both of them released songs targeting each other.
