A worried family is appealing for the public’s help to find the mother of a 21-year-old who left the Houston bikini bar where she worked with an unknown man.
Deundrea Ford was last seen leaving Diva’s Bikini Sports Bar & Grill in the early morning hours of September 22 and getting into a white van with a man she was seen talking to at the establishment.
Surveillance footage captured the van driving away from the bar around 2:30 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
Ford called a friend about half an hour earlier, but they were asleep and didn’t get a call.
“The next morning he saw he got a missed call from [Ford]but she couldn’t reach him,” the missing bar worker’s grandmother, Bridgette Carrierre, told the Houston Chronicle.
“If they have his phone, they turn off his location.”
Family members realized something was wrong after Ford went days without contacting his 4-year-old son. He had been staying with a friend for a week but had been missing for several days without contacting anyone, according to family.

“I was convinced something was wrong,” his uncle, Kevin Carriere, told KHOU.
“This is not his usual behavior.”
The family said they returned to the bar where Ford had started working just weeks earlier, and were able to see surveillance footage.
They were also able to get the address of the man she left with, Bridgette told the Chronicle, though it’s not clear how they were able to get that information.

But when they knocked on the door, Bridgette said, there was no answer.
“We finally called the police,” he said.
Ford is described as a black woman with brown eyes and black hair. He is about 5 foot 4 and about 170 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black tank top and tan pants, according to Houston police.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Houston Police Department at (832) 394-1840.
