While most suspected an actor of Evans’ age, the media surprised fans by honoring Dempsey as their newest sexiest man alive. Naturally, the Teen Choice Award nominee was touched by the honor, describing the title as an ego booster.

Following Dempsey’s opening, the 57-year-old sat down with Kimmel to address his new title. “I’m glad they made the decision, and it’s me this year,” the father of three said.
