Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s phone call to King Charles III on his 75th birthday has reportedly marked a “tipping point” in relations between the Sussexes and the British monarch.
It comes after the two were not seen attending the King’s birthday and were reportedly not included in the guest list. Since making a brief appearance for the King’s coronation in May, Harry has not visited his father or his brother, Prince Williams.

The Sussex couple’s relationship with King Charles may have improved after the pair contacted the monarch to wish him a happy birthday.
Former royals were conspicuously absent from the royal celebrations, reportedly because they were not invited. Nevertheless, they contacted the king by phone, seen as an initial effort to rebuild relations with him.
While it is unclear what they discussed and how long it lasted, reports claim that the conversation was heated and heartfelt. It is reported to cause positive changes that may produce more fruit in the future.
As well as Harry and Meghan speaking to the King, their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also sent their grandfather happy birthday wishes. They did so via a pre-recorded video in which they were seen singing “Happy Birthday.”

During that time, she did not take part in the balcony appearance after the church service and did not spend time chatting with the King or her brother, Prince William. “I spent years kicking my heels, and I didn’t want to grow up. I thought I wanted out, but then decided to stay and do the role for myself,” said Harry during the interview, per Daily Mail.
At the time, she also mentioned that she was still “determined to live a relatively normal life” and planned to give her children the same.
