Actress Kaley Cuoco shared a touching gesture showing her love and support for her partner, Tom Pelphrey, for Father’s Day.
This year’s celebration will be the first time Pelphrey will celebrate as a father following the birth of their daughter, Matilda, in March. The couple took the big step to expand their family just months after first revealing their relationship in May 2022.

The heartwarming moment captured shows the “Ozark” star carrying Matilda as a newborn in an iconic t-shirt that reads “Waltzing Matilda.” The mother of one captioned the post, “?Happy (first) Father’s Day to Tildy’s favorite person! @tommypelphrey, watching you become a dad has been the joy of my life! The “Charmed” actor’s tribute to parenthood went beyond Pelphrey, as he shared additional photos of his father posing with his granddaughter and Cuoco and her sister Brianna Cuoco. “And to my father! The greatest pop and grap on earth! Matilda is one of the lucky widdle parts!” he added.
The “Can’t Be Heaven” star shared a photo of Matilda sporting a new navy blue dress on her Instagram story. The outfit features text that reads “Our first Father’s Day” along with “Tommy & Tildy” written below an icon of a baby elephant with its elephant father.
Pelphrey was not left out of the celebration; she also took to her Instagram to reflect on her new journey into fatherhood and the men who inspire her.
The 40-year-old posted several pictures, including one of him and Matilda wearing matching Father’s Day shirts. She delighted her followers with various photos featuring her daughter with moments captured with Cuoco. He also shared images of Father’s Day items he was gifted, including a “Best Dad” mug and another mug branded “Matilda’s Dad.”
In the caption, he revealed that he spent his Father’s Day morning “Having coffee with Kaley” and watching “To Kill a Mockingbird” on TCM.
“Seeing Atticus, the ‘perfect’ dad, made me reflect on all the great men in my life,” she explained. After paying tribute to the men in her life who inspired her, she offered her heartfelt appreciation to the mother of her son.

Banshee Star Says Fatherhood Is ‘Natural’ For Him
Since the birth of his son, Pelphrey has opened up about his fatherhood journey in an April interview with Access Hollywood. The “Ozark” star admitted he wasn’t sure what to expect from fatherhood, but he couldn’t contain his excitement after the birth of his first child.
She said, “I was surprised how natural it was, you know, like being around my niece and other babies in my family was always a little bit like being afraid to hold them, touch them, not wanting to break them.”
Despite his fears, the 40-year-old admits it was easy to be a father to baby Matilda. “But, as soon as they handed me over, Matilda, I felt comfortable holding her. I felt comfortable moving it and changing it, and that was a surprise,” he explained.

Pelphrey isn’t the only one who has had a thrilling parenting experience. The same can be said for his partner Cuoco, who opened up about raising their child.
Speaking on the “Smartless” podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, Cuoco opened up about her over-a-year relationship, revealing that she got pregnant just two months into their romantic relationship.
Cuoco stated, “We’re two months into the pregnancy. We’re like, boom, boom, boom. We’re in sync.” Later, he mentioned, “We’re not 20 years old anymore — we’re like, ‘Are we doing this or not?'”
When asked if the couple wanted more children, she said, “Yes, we do.”
