The San Francisco 49ers suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs in this year’s Super Bowl; however, some famous couples of NFL teams are moving in style.
49ers WAGS and their partners, including quarterback Christian McCaffrey and his fiancee, Olivia Culpo, recently traveled to Mexico. The group have been spotted washing away their blues at sea and making the most of their romantic getaway.

Two weeks ago, the 49ers’ season ended with a 25-22 overtime loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. But some of the Niners have overcome their grief in the Cabo San Lucas sun, clearing their minds and rejuvenating their hearts on the famous beach.
McCaffrey and Culpo were joined by 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and his wife, NFL designer Kristin Juszczyk. The guest list also included 49ers’ tight end George Kittle and his wife, Claire Kittle.
The power couple were photographed tanned and soaking in the calm waters, while making precious new memories. The group seems to have come to terms with their Super Bowl loss, with the stunning WAGS playfully addressing the situation on Culpo’s TikTok page.

The former beauty queen shared a video with cameos from Kristin and Claire along with the onscreen text, “If you’re wondering how we’re going to survive.”
“I’ll give that pain a 10,” Claire lip-synced to the audio before the camera panned back to Kristin and Olivia, who said, “It hurts really, really, really, really, really, really bad.”
Despite feeling blue about losing the Super Bowl, the sadness isn’t enough to overshadow the WAGS’ love for their partner. Culpo, who got engaged to McCaffrey in April 2023, talked about her husband-to-be in a separate TikTok video following the 49ers loss.
In the caption of the post, he insisted that the result was not what he had hoped for; however, his man gave everything on the pitch. In his words:
“It’s sad because I wish the outcome would have been different, but in the end I’m thankful I got the chance to watch someone I love do what he loves and pour his heart and soul into getting better every day.”
“I’m so proud of you, Christian, you deserve the world. Thank you all for your love and support this year! It means a lot,” Culpo concluded his touching tribute. Her fellow WAGS echoed similar sentiments on their respective social media pages, with Kristin dropping a lengthy Instagram dedication to her husband, Kyle.

“Every human emotion may be felt on Sunday. We’re still trying to process our feelings, to be honest. All we know is that in moments of sadness and defeat, we are reminded of how lucky we are to have the support system we have,” said the doting wife, adding:
“Kyle – you’re Superman. The true definition of a role model. I look up to you every day. Seeing you wake up with a smile on your face every day because you can play football always inspires me to chase my dreams.”
Kristin claims “proud” is an understatement in describing how she feels as Kyle’s wife and declares she will be his eternal supporter. Meanwhile, Claire echoed similar sentiments about her husband, George, in an IG post.
He shared a photo from the Super Bowl along with a message full of gratitude. The caption read in part: “We are grateful, happy, sad, disappointed, excited, appreciative & disappointed but not discouraged!!! There is so much to look forward to.”

Days before the Super Bowl on February 11, 49ers’ star McCaffrey opened up about stopping his fiance from buying a VIP suite for his mother. During the interview, the athlete revealed he “had to turn down” Culpo because he wasn’t a fan of the idea.
“He tried, but I won’t let anyone pay to watch me play,” explained the 27-year-old. The suite’s drama began when the mother confessed her desire to watch her son play in the tournament from the comfort of her seat on an episode of her “Your Mom” podcast.
Unfortunately, the NFL star’s mother was unable to purchase a VIP suite due to the high price, but managed to negotiate an area. “Part of the problem is that I want eight tickets together. I feel strongly about everyone being together,” explained the parent, adding:
“So, in short, it’s very expensive, it’s very expensive, I don’t know if it’s the Taylor Swift factor, if it’s the first time in Vegas factor, there’s a lot going on.”
Following his podcast confession, his son-in-law-to-be stepped up to buy a VIP suite; however, McCaffrey refused.
