“You know, I don’t know why he even bothered to show up,” adding, “I could be wrong, but I – in my opinion, 85 percent of the performance was lip syncing.”
Her co-host, Robin Quivers, said she also could not confirm whether the pop diva was actually singing. The 68-year-old insisted that the one part of the production that might have given him the gift was when Rihanna put the microphone down, but the voices continued.
Although he didn’t perform “Love the Way You Lie” during the 13-minute show, the 34-year-old sang some of his chart-topping songs, such as “Umbrella” and “Diamonds,” while suspended in the air on a floating platform.
