Birth & Early Life
Hrishikesh Joshi was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling from New High School, Kolhapur and went to the National Drama School for honing his acting skills and following his passion.
Career
During the initial phase of Hrishikesh’s career, he appeared in Ye Bhau Doka Nako Khau for which he was awarded with the Best Actor award from the Maharashtra government.
After that, Hrishikesh gained popularity for appearing in Harishchandrachi Factory where he played the role of a school teacher. The film was screened at the 56th National Film Awards and was awarded with Best Choice Film and was also selected as India’s official entry to the Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film Category.
Hrishikesh also appeared in several Marathi TV serials like Ghadlay Bighadlay, Hasa Chakat Fu, Spandan, Bigg Boss Marathi 1 etc. Hrishikesh was also part of both seasons of the web series Breathe: Into the Shadows.
