Hrishikesh Joshi is an Indian film, television and theater actor. He mostly worked in Marathi films and TV serials.

Hrishikesh Joshi was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He did his schooling from New High School, Kolhapur. In 1997, he graduated from the National School of Drama, Delhi.

Career
He started his career as a theater artist and has performed in more than 50 theater plays in Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit. He has performed in more than 400 shows for the commercial drama Mukkampost Bombilwadi. She has acted in more than 150 shows for the commercial drama Sangeet Lagnakallol and performed in more than 150 shows for the Marathi drama Love Story.
In 1987, he made his debut in the Hindi film, ‘Sutradhar.’ He has worked in various National Award-winning films, including ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’ (2010), ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ (2010), ‘Deool’ (2011), ‘Vishnupant Damle: The Unsung Hero Of Talkies’ (2012), ‘Aajcha Divas Majha’ (2014), and ‘Yellow’ ( 2014).
He has also acted in several Marathi TV serials, such as ‘Ghadlay Bighadlay’ (1999), ‘Shi. Gangadhar Tipare’ (2001), and ‘Spandan’ (2017). He is also a columnist and writes for the famous Marathi newspaper, Loksatta.
In 2018, he debuted as a director with the Marathi film, ‘Home Sweet Home.’ He has appeared in several Hindi web series including, ‘Breathe’ (2018), ‘Hundred’ (2020), and ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’ (2020).
