Taking to his Instagram page, the “Logan” actor shared a cute photo of himself posing with his old partner on a balcony. In the background is a skyscraper that emits various sparkling lights in the night sky.
Showcasing their eternal bond, the two were wrapped in a warm embrace as they flashed happy smiles for the camera. Jackman captioned this romantic post with his undying love for the “Voyager” actress.
“I love you Deb. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 YEARS!!” the Emmy winner began her passionate message. “I really love you. Together we create a beautiful family. And life.”
Reflecting on his wife’s best qualities, the touched husband said: “Your laughter, your spirit, your generosity, your humor, your sass, your courage, and your loyalty are incredible gifts to me. I love you with all my heart.”
At 67, the Australian beauty is thirteen years older than her lover. However, the small number did not diminish the love that blossomed between the couple in 1995. According to reports, the lovers met on the set of ABC’s hit drama series “Correlli.”
The Australian show marks the “X-Men” star’s first role out of drama school, while Lee-Furness is already a successful actress. Recalling their first meeting, Jackman admitted that he was immediately attracted to the older performer.
However, it took several weeks before the Oscar nominee confessed her feelings as she felt it would be “unprofessional and embarrassing” to have an affair with the lead actor. Finally, the Hollywood sensation confessed his love at the dinner party and the blonde echoed the same sentiment.
Four months into their relationship, the “Real Steel” actor popped the big question, leading to the couple’s wedding less than a year after meeting. On April 11, 1996, the two said their vows in a church outside of Melbourne, Australia.
During a conversation with a news outlet, the Grammy winner revealed that he knew his wife was the woman he was meant for. “I knew very early on; I knew before Deb did. Even if he tried to break up with me, I know,” claimed the 54-year-old man.
“He’s like [broke up with me], a little. At first, three weeks in. I managed to talk it out, thank God,” Jackman admitted, noting that as an “uncertain person,” he was relieved to have clarity about his future with Lee-Furness even before he did.
Four years into their marriage, the dynamic duo adopted their first child, a son named Oscar. In July 2005, they welcomed their second child through adoption — daughter Ava. On their decision to raise children with different cultures, the “Jindabyne” actress said:
“We fully embrace our ancestors and extended family; they are family to us. And it’s there, even if it’s hereditary. It may be subtle, but it’s there.”

“I’ll find out in two or three days, and as soon as I know, I’ll let you know,” the Sydney native assured fans in her social media update before using the opportunity to preach about sunscreen.
According to the “Les Misérables” star, the sun spots on her nose were caused by overexposure 25 years ago. “Put on sunscreen. You will still have an amazing time out there. All right. Please be safe,” the entertainer advised fans.
