Hunter Biden’s legal bills could be costing him $1 million a month, legal experts say.
The first son — and his team of top lawyers — have launched at least four lawsuits in addition to their ongoing fight against special counsel David Weiss.
“Today, top lawyers in New York and Washington bill about $2,000 an hour for lead counsel and between $1,000 and $1,800 for other partners and in the high hundreds … for junior associates,” noted attorney Alan Dershowitz said.
Hunter’s lead attorney, Winston and Strawn Partner Abbe Lowell, will likely command top billing, Dershowitz, 85, said.
“I would say generally in the area of a million dollars a month,” the Harvard Law Professor theorized. “It would be a high rough estimate of what might be run for all those cases if they were charged at commercial rates.”

Hunter Biden has been on the offensive over the past month, hunting down everyone involved in the spread of his infamous abandoned laptop.
On Tuesday he sued Rudy Giuliani and former New York Mayor Robert Costello’s lawyer. Earlier this month Hunter Biden filed papers against former White House aide Garrett Ziegler, whose nonprofit Marco Polo made much of the data from Hunter Biden’s laptop publicly searchable online.
The first son launched litigation this month against the Internal Revenue Service — a government agency with unlimited resources at his disposal — and he’s also suing John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the Delaware computer repair shop that first took the laptop. after Hunter Biden left him.

On top of all that, he remains locked in a years-long legal battle with US Attorney David Weiss, whose investigation into Hunter is still ongoing after he was promoted to special counsel last month.
Although Hunter Biden’s primary attorney is Lowell, at least three firms have been employed in various endeavors.
Rudy Giuliani said the fee could easily be “a few million dollars this year,” adding “that’s not too expensive.”
Lowell did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.
The eye-popping numbers raise additional questions about how Hunter Biden funds his legitimate army. In 2018 he went broke and asked his father and uncle for cash, newly released text messages.

Last year Hunter Biden cried poverty in court, arguing that he had to reduce child support payments to Lunden Roberts – a one-time stripper and the mother of his son Navy Joan – because of changes in his “financial circumstances.” Both settled in June with Hunter Biden reducing the $20,000 fee to $5,000.
Hunter Biden’s only real income is the $1.3 million he earned from the sale of his paintings thanks to the sudden support of Democratic donors.
“Someone is managing these legal fees … this is coming from some hidden fund that the Bidens have,” Giuliani said, adding that the cash may also have come from Kevin Morris, the famous Hollywood entertainment mogul who took it. big tab for Hunter Biden in the past.
Morris famously paid off a $2 million tax debt for Hunter in an effort to blunt a Justice Department tax evasion investigation into the first son. He also regularly allows Hunter Biden to use his private jet.
Morris did not respond to a request for comment.
